China Business Association, together with Gravity Consulting Ltd, has successfully won a project contract from One NorthEast in Development and Marketing Support for North East Chinese Companies. The objectives of the project is to provide bespoke business support including business strategy consultancy, market plan consultancy, marketing, PR and event management services to Chinese companies in the North East of England receiving support from One NorthEast Investment & Aftercare Team.

One NorthEast has had established links with China for over ten years and the key objective of this relationship is to attract high-quality Chinese companies to invest in the North East. So far there are around 35 Chinese investments in the region, giving it the second largest concentration of Chinese companies in Europe outside of London.

Providing long-term support to these companies is a key responsibility of the Investment & Aftercare team of One NorthEast. The CBA and Gravity Consulting Ltd will work closely with the team to provide tailored and in-depth support to Chinese companies. The successful completion of the project will ensure that Chinese companies which have invested in the North East region will have their potential greatly enhanced and thus contribute more the economic development of the region.
